Marbella Golf CC is a very exciting course with the use of the rolling Andalucian hillside providing an enjoyable but testing round for players of all abilities.
Marbella Golf CC is another great golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones Snr. and has all his trademarks.
Generous undulating fairways that meander between the olive groves, large greens protected by well placed bunkers and many a tricky and interesting hole.
The par 3 fourth is just tee and green with nothing in between except what the locals call 'bandit country'.
Los Arqueros Golf Course, in the Rhonda hills, is a challenging course set among some fantastic scenery. Designed by Seve Ballesteros it is a challenging course where accuracy is more important than length.
Los Aqueros should appeal to attacking players as its tight layout encourages this type of play. It is a stunning course with fantastic scenery while offering a very technical challenge.
The nearby Rio Verde supplies the three lakes on the course which come into play on a few of the holes and easily cause problems.
Atalaya Golf Course has two courses in excellent condition with beautifully manicured fairways and greens. The Old course has flat wide fairways while the New course has slightly more slopes.
Atalaya Park Golf and Country Club is the official headquarters of the PGA of Europe which covers 29 countries and 7,500 golf professionals.
It is a members course but is happy to welcome visitors with the Old Course the more popular.
