Amazing Albir Holidays

Albir on Spain’s Costa Blanca is on the outskirts of Benidorm (they are only about 6 km apart), but is a different resort altogether. Albir is in the region of Alfas del Pi and sits snugly between Benidorm and Altea. The beautiful beach of Playa de Raco offers an ideal family day out because it avoids the crowds of the beaches in Benidorm, yet is has plenty of nice cafes and bars and oodles of room for buckets and spades! The Costa Blanca coastline is blessed with Blue Flag beaches and you'll find another on Albir holidays. Very much geared all-round for family holidays, there is less brashness here than Benidorm and a lot more charm. Still, if you hanker after the strobe lighting, grab the local bus and you’re in Benidorm in a flash.

Albir is very proud of its reputation as a family resort and it works hard to maintain the clean-cut image. The lovely beach is perfect for adults and even tiny swimmers and the walk to the Lighthouse is a pleasant evening stroll. For scuba divers, there’s a dive site to the north of Playa de Raco which is rich in marine life. Otherwise, water lovers will have to make do with Aqualandia, a fabulous amusement park where chutes, water slides and pools are fashioned for your pleasure. Albir has many cafes, bars, pubs and restaurants and prices are usually geared with families in mind, so your mortgage is safe here!
