A promontory that juts into the blue Mediterranean, the resort of Cap Salou tags on to the tail of Salou itself. Located on Spain’s Costa Dorada, Cap Salou really is the home of a large All-Inclusive resort, so could be considered a bit more sophisticated than the party animal that is Salou centre. A few lovely little secluded bays and small sandy beaches are perfect for lazy, sunny days. The area is great for walking too as there are some nice trails along the coast. Cap Salou holidays are perfect if quiet and tranquil is what you're after.
Cap Salou is definitely a family style resort where everything is close at hand and even the entertainment is on site! Much quieter than Salou, it is still easy to hop in and out to the resort centre as the local bus operates frequently (about every 30 minutes) and is only a short ride away. If you miss the twinkling lights, then a trip to Salou will bring back your faith that busy bars, loud music, non-stop parties and hectic nightlife are all still alive and well!
Activities
Swim sunbathe and relax. By night, enjoy the quiet local area or take the bus to Salou for great restaurants and bars. Visit the nearby waterpark at Aquapolis. Book a trip to PortAventura for a theme park experience in a million – the kids will love it (and so will you!). Visit nearby Cambrils or La Pineda for a change of scenery.
