Captivating Caleta de Fuste Holidays

A really attractive resort, built specially for the holidaymaker, Caleta de Fuste is man-made and still has a pretty new feel to it. Almost half-way down the east coast of Fuerteventura, Caleta de Fuste holidays take full advantage of a lovely crescent shaped beach offering shelter and safe swimming. The “Castillo” (castle) or old watchtower stands guard over the resort and adds a nice historic element, dating from the 18th century. As with many resorts on the island now, Caleta de Fuste is experiencing change, so modern infrastructure is growing to cater to the visitor demands. 

Starting life as a long main street with many nice cafes, jolly bars and open air restaurants, Caleta de Fuste is growing to accommodate the holidaymaker. Developing inland, there are plenty of shops and tourist facilities now and, of course, the beach dominates daily activities. The usual watersports are on offer and sailing, jet skiing, diving and windsurfing. There is even a submarine providing undersea excursions. Caleta de Fuste has a recently opened golf course too, so get that handicap down and start swinging! A multi-screen cinema, shopping complex and top quality restaurants are all part of the scene in the resort, so there’s plenty to keep couples and families happy.
