Welcome to C'an Picafort

C'an Picafort

Discover Holidays to C'an Picafort

A very attractive resort on the north coast of (the most popular) Balearic Island of Majorca, C’an Picafort was purpose built for the visitor and they made a pretty good job of it too! They had very good basics to begin with though and the foundation of a 13 km length of snowy white beach was a decent starting point. So, all roads lead to the water on C’an Picafort holidays, and although the actual resort is small and compact, it seems to punch above its weight. Lying at the eastern end of another well established resort, Alcudia (about 20 minutes drive away), C’an Picafort offers a lot of similar amenities, but in smaller quantities or miniature portions. Well laid out streets (narrow and atmospheric) with local shops and cafes are always busy, but still the relaxed pace is delightfully unhurried.

The broad appeal of C’an Picafort holidays lie not only in the amazing 13 km expanse of stunning beach (a Blue Flag one too), but in the cute compactness of the resort which makes it really easy to get around. The main drag is Paseo Colon where people watching cafes, open air restaurants and bars crowd the length of the strip. Down towards the beach, there are delicious fresh fish and seafood restaurants. Watersports are big in this area, so if you fancy trying your hand at jet skiing or windsurfing, give it a go here. The proportions of C’an Picafort are small, but the resort is pretty with a laid back vibe that is entirely geared for the joy of the tourist. Time for a visit, for sure.

A current, valid Passport is necessary for all visitors. Irish citizens do not require a visa, but other nationalities need to check with their own Embassy.
